Each year the Bennington County area Maple Sugar Makers open their sugar shacks in order to show the public how maple syrup is made.  This year Maple Sunday is on March 25.

There are many maple syrup makers in the Bennington VT area that are opening their operations to the public on this day.  F. Kobik Family in Shaftsbury, the John Williamson Family in North Bennington, the Armstrong Farm in Pownal, and the J. Mance Family Sugarhouse in Shaftsbury.
